Funkjogging?!
A wonderfully weird and cute name for a clothdiaper brand ey? Well, I have been wanting to try one for ages but never really had "mac time" at the stocking or often just plainly forgot! I guess that is what happens when cash run low or when you have MORE than enough diapers for a LO....
Love her website, love her taste in fabrics and combos this evening I somehow managed to get 2 - yes TWO of them... One for Bun and one for a future LO These highly stalked diapers are made of:
Outer: Cotton interlock
Middle: Bamboo terry
Inner: Soooft microfleece from Malden Mills
For Bun - Purple Fairy Funk Size M.
For a future LO or as gift - Teasing Fairy Size NB.
Check out her wonderfully fresh store and keep an eye out for her next stocking - liking her FB page might give you a heads up

A lazy sat arvo
Skirted longies converted!!!
So almost a year ago, I got a pair of MM Malayan Orchid skirted longies off spots. They were stunning and I fell in love. Got them for DD and they were so cute. They did however not get the love they deserved - as you can see the skirt it self was just a bit to big for little DD at the time and they kind of pulled the longies down. She was so little at the time that the skirt was more in the way
I did love them too much to sell them on and when I took them out to try on DD again they were way too short
I ended up asking my mum what to do and we decided to convert them! (I know this might be like swearing in Gods house - but I loved the thing too much to let it go!)
Do you remember these, knit by KellyR? *pic borrowed from Ravelry*
Bun in them at 12 months old
Here they are now - Bun is 22 months tom
Added an inch or two to the inseam, used the yarn from the skirt for the front and back and the waistline for the "braces" - The with is still the same
And just cus..

Fairyland - it is magical!
Im a sucker for dolls - have been all my life and I dont think it will ever stop. Now that I have my own little girl - the interest is back in full bloom. I also love the Asian inspired style!
After a browsing through Etsy today I came across a wonderful store - a woman from UK was knitting these super cute little outfits for some of the amazing dolls I have ever seen! They are truly stunning with handpainted gorgeous "makeup". They are called Fairyland Dolls and theres several types. As I suspected they cost an arm to have made - but some day...

OUR Rainbow Doll has a new outfit!
Off course she needs a warm outfit!
We are going to be in Toronto for Christmas and thats when BunBun is getting her Rainbow Doll. So I asked my mum to knit her a "warm" outfit for Bun to dress her in up there in. BunBun loves to dress and undress her dolls so we just HAD TO have one!
We had a look through our yarns to find the perfect colorway to go with her colors. We ended up with Becoming Art "Neverland" and a lovely Cascade Aqua to compleat the set :) Now all we have to do is wait and hope they fit!

...Really, more yarn?
Eh.. Yes Really!
The thing is, our Christmas set - The Born In A Barn and Sweetiebird Fashions collaboration I posted a while back - was too small for BunBun! I was sooo sad that I managed to measure her wrong. When it arrived, I was so blown away by the fabulous making that I was devestated when I found out it was too small.
I contacted the wonderful WAHMs - and amazingly enough they agreed to make DD another set in a size up! Im soo happy! Thank you both, Beth and Sarah - you have made our X-mas!
Now a this gorgeousness in a size 2T will be my lil BunBun's x-mas outfit :) My mama will knit her a longies to match the dress :)
And if that was not enough...
My mama bought us these wonderful ... a time to dye "Girly sraps" dye ends on Licorice Twist. They are forthe making of Buns very own "scrappy style" longies!
Yarn lovers craze! It's ludicrous! It's wonderful!
